Linda Diamond & Company perform to the works of Ford Crull

An interactive dance event

Members of the dance repertory Linda Diamond Dance Company will perform in duos and trios and solos with the vibrant artwork of Ford Crull as an inspirational backdrop.

Works to be presented include excerpts from Hymn to the Earth choreographed by Linda Diamond with music by Woodstock composer Tom Desisto and performances by Nina Deacon and Ellie Lehman; Duet Andino choreographed by Diamond with the music of the Andes; Salidas y Entradas with music by Pulitzer Prize winner composer Tania Leon;  and Precipice, a solo dance choreographed by Diamond and performed by Principal Dancer Nina Deacon with music by award winning composer Christopher Theofanidis.

Award winning choreographer Linda Diamond has  created over 100 works. She is the recipient of Dutchess County Arts Awards, Puffin Foundation, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Mary Duke Biddle Foundation, Harkness Foundation for Dance, NYSCA  Media Award, and Fine Arts Council of Florida. Linda Diamond & Company is the recipient of a 2024 Arts Mid-Hudson Grant  sponsored by the Governor of the State of NY and NYSCA regrant division.

 

This performances will take place at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts at  34 Tinker St in Woodstock.
