Presented by the Swimming Hole Foundation.

600 Words is a small group of writers/producers/improv artists and performers that are coming together to create a spoken/visual work in response to and inspired by the current exhibition of Ford Crull’s abstract paintings and drawings. The experimental performance will be open to the public.

Phase one will begin in the gallery with the group surrounded and inspired by the paintings of Ford Crull. The group will then return to the Swimming Hole to collectively create, synthesize, and rehearse the work over the next two days.  The group will return to the gallery on Sunday, September 29 at 3pm and perform the work for a public audience.

• Aaron Hicklin – Owner, One Grand Books. Editor/Owner of Grand Literary Journal. Executive Producer/Director, Deep Water Literary Festival. Shelf Life podcast. 

• Jake Lockwood – Show Director & Playwright. Disney. Princess Cruise Lines. We Bring the Funny Productions. 

• Krista Miller – Comedian and Singer. Disney. Regional Theater, most recent appearance, “Steel Magnolias.” 

• Greg Triggs – Director. Comedian. Writer. “That Which Makes Us Stronger.” Travels with Triggs podcast. 

• Teresa Tulipano – Writer, visual artist, storyteller and teacher.
San Francisco Night Life correspondent for Time Out London. Sullivan Arts Grant recipient. 

This performances will take place at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts at  34 Tinker St in Woodstock.
